Welsh painter. She lived in France for most of her life. Many of her paintings depict young women or nuns (she converted to Catholicism in 1913), but she also painted calm, muted interiors. Her style was characterized by a sensitive use of colour and of tone.

Green represents Islam. White symbolizes peace. Red stands for courage. Effective date: 29 July 1980. >>
